Ocoee River Guide - Katy Malone |
 2011 will be Katy's ninth year guiding on the Ocoee River, all of them with the Ocoee Adventure Center, and we sure are glad for it! She spent most of her summers in college up at the river full time, now that she's got her Masters in Fine Arts and a real job (Fly in to Atlanta, like any of the art in the airport? - Katy's got a bit to do with it!) we only get her for weekends, but she makes the best of it! Katy's dog Jackson keeps her company for her drives from the real world back to the Ocoee region, which is great as she does the roundtrip just about every weekend from March to November - once the Ocoee River gets in your blood it tends to stay there!
