Magnificent river gorges–formed by mountains over 12,000 feet tall- carry an annual rainfall that is over five times the average rainfall of the southeastern United States. Water tumbles off green carpeted cliffs to the valley below to form some of the world’s most beautiful whitewater rivers. While the rivers are magnificent, we also plan trips to experience many other things that are purely Costa Rica.
