More About Ocoee Rafting
The Ocoee River has 2 separate sections, the Upper Ocoee and the Middle Ocoee. Each are 5 miles in length, and we spend about 2 hours on the river for each section, 33% more than other Ocoee River Rafting Outfitters. Both sections are appropriate for anyone over the age of 12. We offer Middle Ocoee Rafting trips on weekends from mid-March through Memorial Day, every day except Tuesday and Wednesday from Memorial to Labor Day, and weekends only from Labor Day through the end of October. Upper Ocoee Rafting Trips are available weekends only from Memorial Day through Labor Day. See our Ocoee Rafting calendar for exact dates. On weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day we are lucky enough to be able to offer our favorite Ocoee Rafting trip, the Full Ocoee River Trip, featuring 5 miles of class III – IV whitewater rafting on the Upper Ocoee, including the Olympic Course used for the 1996 Olympic Canoe and Kayak slalom events. After the Upper Ocoee you’ll enjoy a hearty lunch, then continue down five miles of class III – IV rapids on the Middle Ocoee.
