Bear Claw Vineyards

Bear Claw is a quiet retreat

While you are enjoying adventures in the Ocoee River area, another must visit place in the Ocoee River area is Bear Claw Vineyards. Close to downtown Blue Ridge, Bear Claw is a quiet retreat. A visit is an excellent way to round out a full day of Ocoee River rafting! Delicious wine, corn hole, and a fire pit create an atmosphere to relax and recharge. Located just down the road from Ocoee Adventure Center.

Kevin and Michelle own Bear Claw

After living in busy suburbs outside of Atlanta, Bear Claw Vineyard owners, Kevin and Michelle Swim, decided it was time to leave the fast pace of the city. They relocated to the beauty and tranquility of Blue Ridge. They picked a beautiful piece of land with a natural spring and relaxing breeze, and it quickly became home. As time passed, Kevin and Michelle decided that the beauty of their land should be shared with others seeking rest, relaxation, and restoration. After extensively researching the land, Kevin and Michelle discovered that their home was the prime location to grow grapes. At 1832 feet above sea level, with a cool mountain breeze, and rich and unique soils, the land was the perfect place to produce the highest quality wine. Therefore, Bear Claw Vineyards was created on the foundation of top quality wine and a soothing and relaxing aesthetic.

Blue Ridge Treehouse

Bear Claw is home of the Blue Ridge Treehouse featured on the "Treehouse Guy.” When the Treehouse Guys from the DIY network came out and built a treehouse on the property, guests began to visit and then revisit the treehouse every year! Kevin and Michelle decided then it was time to find another way to offer their land to the community and Blue Ridge Treehouse was born!

Enjoy Luxury Amenities and Accommodations

If you’re looking for unique accommodations, you can book a stay for one or multiple nights at the Blue Ridge Treehouse! “Life is busy, and there isn’t always enough time to slow down and reconnect with the people that you care about most. At the vineyard, time moves slower, relationships connect better, and many smiles are shared. Stop in and experience the magic of the vineyard.”
