Fredys is originally from El Salvador and has been a river guide with OAC for 3 years. When not guiding, he spends his time kayaking, tree climbing, rock climbing, camping, hiking, anything outdoors! Fredys especially loves the Ocoee River for its connection with the Cherokee Tribe. The name Ocoee originates from the Passiflora incarnata, a beautiful flower native to the area. During the off-season and weekdays he run a tree service in Chattanooga.
At Ocoee Adventure Center, we pride ourselves on having the most experienced and fun-loving guides on the river! You can request a guide in advance when you book your trip.
**Please note that leaving a gratuity is a great way to show your guide appreciation for a fun day on the river.**
