Josh is originally from Forest, VA most famous as the summer destination for Thomas Jefferson. Josh has been a rafting guide for eight years and enjoys the Ocoee River for the vast variety of mediums
in which someone can navigate the river: rubber, plastic, and fiberglass.
In the off-season, Josh is the coordinator for the University of Tennessee’s Outdoor Pursuits (UTOP) program. Their mission is to provide the university community with outdoor adventure, recreation, and education in all they offer. Click here to read more about UTOP.
At Ocoee Adventure Center, we pride ourselves on having the most experienced and fun-loving guides on the river! You can request a guide in advance when you book your trip.
*Please note that leaving a gratuity is a great way to show your guide appreciation
for a fun day on the river.*
