Serenberry Vineyards is like a taste of Mother Nature in a bottle and when you are enjoying life in the mountains. And that is exactly what you want! In addition, you will love that this vineyard’s vibe celebrates those things with bonfires, outdoor concerts, the oh-so-inviting patio, and much more!
Serenberry is a charming vineyard and farm winery just a few country miles from downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. Experience this intimate place and take in the simple and serene pleasures. All the while being surrounded by nature’s down-to-earth gifts of life, people, and wine. Visit the Tasting Barn, dating back to the 1920s, and sample a variety of sweet, dry, and hearty wines. Linger longer; select your favorite wine, by the glass or the bottle, and explore this beautiful, relaxed setting. Enjoy the open-air patio or take a leisurely stroll through the vines.
Located not too far from the Ocoee Adventure Center outpost, Serenberry Vineyards offers wine made from grapes that are born and raised in Georgia. Which is good for the environment, and helps to support local farmers! Come visit their grapevines, each with its own personality, and relax after an exciting day of Ocoee River rafting!
In the early 1960s, the seed was planted, for what would one day become Serenberry Vineyards, when Henry and Ethelyn Jernigan came to North Georgia. After hearing about the area’s trout fishing, they purchased acreage in Morganton, Georgia, with a house and a barn that had been built in the 1920s. Fast forward two generations later and the barn “The Little House” is still in the family!
The Little House was recently renovated, exposing its original roots as a barn, and transformed into the Tasting Barn in 2012.
