Best Ocoee River Guides
Our Ocoee River Rafting Guides represent an interesting cross section of life experiences. Our river guides all like to have fun and love the river! Many of our guides are whitewater kayaking enthusiasts. Some of our guides are lifelong full time guides who follow the water and sun for endless summers. While others chase the snow in the winter as a life path. Others are teachers, EMTs, professions, or college students. Whether guiding rafts on the Ocoee River is their full time profession or a summer job, you can rest assured that our guide staff are the most professional and highly qualified guides on the river.
Extensive River Guide Training
Our extensive river guide training program is administered by our Trip Leading staff. Our trainers have 100+ years of experience among them. Guide training is a very long and intensive program; you can rest assured that even if you have one of our youngest guides he or she will be more than prepared to give you the trip of a lifetime!
Want to Become a River Guide
If you want to become a guide or work on the Ocoee River we take applications during the beginning of each calendar year prior to the beginning of training in April. Visit Ocoee River Guide Jobs at Ocoee Adventure Center for more information.
CPR & First Aid Certified Guides
All guides are certified in CPR and First Aid. In addition, at least one guide with each trip has a minimum of a Wilderness First Aid level of certification to be able to respond quickly and proficiently if anything happens while on the river.
